NEW HORIZONS is a non-profit organization founded in 2016 in Sicily, Italy dedicated to promoting social development and cultural preservation for the local territory and bridging the rather isolated local community to the dynamic world outside by means of education and training, information service, and international cooperation.

In essence, the founding members aim to construct “new horizons” in the imminent future of the people and crucially young people in their city of residence.

Based in Tusa, a small ancient town of approximately 3,000 inhabitants, New Horizons takes the initiative to rediscover, revitalize, and re-launch a town struggling with depopulation, youth unemployment and the shortage of socio-cultural services for its remaining residents.

New Horizons has been actively participating in Erasmus+ programme under a variety of Key Actions (KA1, KA2, KA3) and fields (Youth, Adult, VET, Sports). Our key areas of intervention include: Social entrepreneurship education, Promotion of Traditional Heritage, Accessible and Sustainable tourism, and inclusive health-enhancing Sports.

Italy

Previform LDA.

PREVIFORM, LDA. is a Portuguese “VET” and adult training provider established in 2005, accredited by the government of the Portuguese Republic.

Its mission is to give attention to innovative training methods by providing the appropriate skills required for qualified professionals, developed mechanisms which facilitate and promote the transaction between training and the labor market, provided trainees with solid socio-cultural, scientific and technological training; and validation and assessing the learning outcomes, so provides vocational training at various European levels II, III, V. PREVIFORM has a range of experience in the area of adult training in almost all modalities, as well as vast experience in providing consulting in areas that specialize in Occupational Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene field.

Also, PREVIFORM as successfully worked for more than 10 years in different EU co-funded projects, including Erasmus+, in order to build and develop innovative training, thus constituting an experienced work team.

Portugal

Fundación Universitat Jaume I – Empresa

Fundación Jaume I – Empresa is a body governed by public law, funded in 1993 and promoted by the University, the Social Council of the University and the Confederación de Empresarios de Castellón (CEC) (Employer Association of Castellón). The aim of FUE-UJI is to collaborate with the University in the development and creation of activities related to postgraduate training, specialization and expert courses; as well as continuous training, promote research projects results, generate postgraduate work opportunities and improve the potential of companies in addition to the economic and social sectors of Castellón. 

EuroFUE-UJI is the European and International Projects Office of FUE-UJI, whose mission is to get funding to develop innovative projects together with UJI research groups, companies and associations, among others.

EuroFUE-UJI’s team is formed by experts on communication who design and manage strategic, creative, agile, effective and timely manner the work and the results of the projects develop of all types of communication and dissemination actions.

Spain

Ergasia Ekpedeftiki S.A.

Ergasia Ekpedeftiki S.A. was established in 2007. In Ergasia S.A. we provide Vocational Training, Career Counseling and Support to unemployed, employees and self-employed. We deliver tailor-made training courses and we provide training and educational methodologies and train-the-trainer guidebooks. In our Erasmus+ KA2 and NSRF (mainly referring to social inclusion) projects we target people with fewer opportunities like NEETs, +55 adults and ROMA and people that are less-skilled and/or less-qualified by supporting opportunities in acquiring and developing key competences.

Our mission is to create a competitive advantage for our trainees and to add value to each completed project, through the development and implementation of innovative systems for lifelong learning, and skills’ structure.

Our Services include:

• Vocational Training to unemployed, employees and self-employed,

• Career Counseling and Support to unemployed and employees on issues such as exploring career interests and skills, professional orientation, connection with the labor market

Ergasia SA has trained – to date – more than 7.500 people both unemployed and employed, we have cooperated with 2.800 companies and 600 trainers, offering training programs in almost all business sectors: Tourism, Information Technology, Finance & Administration, Technical Professions, Manufacturing, Transportation, Health & Welfare, Agriculture Professions, Environment, Pedagogic and Culture & Sport.

Ergasia SA is certified by the National Certification Agency for Qualifications and Career Guidance (EOPPEP) in 2009 and since then we provide Vocational Education and Training to unemployed, employees, and self-employed. We operate with quality procedures certified according to ISO 9001:2015 in the field of “Design and provision of education services through vocational training seminars”.

There are 20 employees in Ergasia SA; all of them have the educational background and proven experience in preparing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and financially managing training programs. We also work closely with experts in various fields that cooperate with us as needed.

Greece

Ecological Future Education (hereinafter – EFE)

Ecological Future Education (hereinafter – EFE) is a non-profit organisation that offers non-formal learning for young people and adults. Offering training on sustainability and an inclusive environment.

The main focus is to provide simplified access to education by providing up-to-date learning materials, tools and methods. Experience creating training curricula, teaching and learning toolkits, training materials, e-learning modules and adapting easy-to-read method.

Sustainable education including active citizenship is one of EFE‘s main activities. EFE provides open lectures and informational materials to easier understand environmental and sustainable development issues. EFE involves youth and adults to be active and responsible citizens.

To raise social awareness about environmental issues EFE organise a wide range of workshops about object upcycling, sewing reusable produce bags, making beeswax wrap and etc.
